To start with, it was a very humble beginning. The trust helped three students on 02.02.2006 by sanctioning a scholarship of Rs.3,000/- each, hailing from Krishna & S.P.S. Nellore Districts. This year, i.e., 2017 it swelled to 459 students hailing from all Districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States. To the pride of our Gowdas, this is the only Trust which was started with well conceived Objectives, Ideals, Ideas and vision with perspective planning, visualising the development of our future generations, in the history of Gowdas.

Over a period of 12 years, our Kaundinya Educational Trust has helped approximately 4500 poor and meritorious students with a total amount of Ninety six Lakh Rupees.
Among these beneficiaries, there are about 70 Doctors, 2000 Engineers and the rest are Agricultural B.Sc, Pharmacy, IIT, Polytechnic, CAs and others. Until 05-09-2010 our concentration was only on S.S.C. and Jr. Intermediate students. But since 04-11-2011 onwards we started to encourage the students of EAMCET, ICET, NEET and PGCET, IIT, Polytechnic & Ed. CET. As the fund grows, we are planning to motivate some potential students to take up civils and state level competitive exams, by sanctioning incentive scholarships.
Our main objective is to see our Gowda people getting highly motivated to go for education and thereby to shift to lucrative professions from toddy tapping, which does not provide minimum needs like food, shelter & clothing.
