APPEAL TO RICH GOWDAS

I appeal to the politicians, Industrialists and the well-to-do, to do something for the people from where you have taken your roots. I am sure you can contribute lakhs of rupees. Whatever is given to the society is the “Punya” which we carry with us. Take an oath to do this Punya.

Dear brothers and sisters, please “bury” regional and sub-caste feelings, if you have. Get united like Jews and be a partner in the yagna of “Help for the Poor & Meritorious Students of Gowdas “ (Settibalija, Ediga, Srisayana & Yaata).

One lakh donors become life members. Photos of life members and brief information about each member is given. Addition of photos to this web-site is a continuous process. My dear Atma Bandhuvulara, finally, I appeal to you all to take a minimum responsibility to help our Gowdas to come up in the society through education. All these years many kind-hearted and helping nature people might not have heard of a real trust worthy and well organized trust like ours in our state. Our KAUNDINYA EDUCATIONAL TRUST is Twelve –year old. Whatever amount is donated either goes to the fixed Deposit or to the poor and meritorious students. The trustees who travel to different places for motivating our people bear the expenditure from their own pockets.

We pay the scholarships to the students through cheques only. The expenditure met from the trust’s interest accrued on F.Ds is “The price charged for cheque books and commission charged by the bank on the donations sent in the form of cheques and Demand Drafts”. This expenditure on an average per year over the last 5 years is hardly about Rs.300/-.

Hence, I request you to check the sincerity of our activities through any source in Andhra Pradesh. Audit copy submitted to income-Tax Department is made available on this website.
